The first of Feb is fast approaching and amongst many other happenings it means that it is time to think about the next release for my new album “Just me & the rain”. What can I say, this next track is a corker even if I do say so myself.
Next track
The track is called “The price You Pay”. It features the vocal stylings of the fabulous Annie Mac. I’ve been making music or been in business with Annie for a good 40+ years now. When I thought of this song I couldn’t imagine anyone else singing it. I hope you agree that she has delivered a first class interpretation. The song also features my son Luke on Drums, Dale Powers on bass, & the ever reliable Bernie Mc on bv’s.
Buying the album
You people have been incredibly generous, often paying more than I asked for when it came to buying the tracks. Many of you have in fact bought the whole album even though it is not yet ready for sale. This has caused Bandcamp to have some sort of conniption as I am asking band camp to do something that it doesn’t know how to do. If this was you and you are wondering “hey where’s the rest of the album???”, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE email me & I will happily email you back with the new tracks as they become available
Set backs
It hasn’t all been plain sailing from our perspective. Last December My music computer decided that it was time for a break and stopped work. Via a few work arounds we have been able to keep moving forward with only relatively minor losses of data that we are having to deal with. Unfortunately the days of running an old version of pro-tools on a windows 95 platform seem to be well and truly over. Time to raise funds for a new system me thinks.
